3. Assisted digging up the gates built for King Solomon at Tel Gezer
4. Chaired a Board of Directors for a California private college
5. Won a speech contest at Harvard University for theology students
6. Painted a dormitory for rescued street boys in Brazil with a volunteer team of fathers & sons
7. Organized a roof replacement party for a single lady in need
8. Walked through Hezekiah's tunnel dug under Jerusalem about 700 BC
9. Helped build a log cabin for staff members of a children's home in Alaska
10. Stayed married 39 years and counting . . .
11. Gave an archaeological lecture in a church in Warsaw, Poland
12. Stayed at a Kibbutz for two weeks during archaeological dig at Tel Harrasim
13. Taught an evening course at a Community College for 7 years
14. "Won" a track meet for my highschool in the last event of the day: high-jumping
15. Had my luggage blown up by the Israeli police -- losing all my trip underwear (you've got to hear this story)
16. Took at mudbath and glider flight in Calistoga, CA
17. Became a professor at age 24 in a private college in Missouri
18. Canoed down the Washita River as a teenager in an aluminum canoe
